Lane Gets Makeover

WORK is under way on the last stage of resealing the well-used gravel sections of Gingers Lane at Weston and Abermain.

The resealing of the lane and the widening of its existing sealed sections are being done under a $450,000 capital works program.

Cessnock City Council civil construction manager Les Kirwan said Gingers Lane was an increasingly important link between Abermain and Weston, and for employees of the Hydro Aluminium smelter.
